Around the world in 80 days Part 6

When they were crossing the Indian jungle by the elephant, they met a group of worshippers who were doing a suttee--if a husband died, his wife has to be a funeral pyre, now it has been abolished by low. After heard that, our gentleman, Mr.Fogg, decided to rescue the woman. They had to take action after nightfall. Because the group members liked to take bhang-- liquid opium, they could slip and furtive past them to get to the temple where the beautiful woman was being held prisoner. This time, Passepartout became the hero and snatched the young woman from her death. And his master gave him the highest praise-- told him "well done". Then they were going to leave Allahabad to Benares by train. So what about Kiouni--the elephant, yes, Mr.Fogg gave the trusty and courageous elephant to the guide. And Mrs. Aouda--the rescue woman also followed Mr.Fogg and his servant. On the train, they told every details how they rescued her when she was shakes off by the drug somke. Thought about Mrs. Aouda future life, Mr.fogg would accompany her to Hong Kong, where she would stay until this whole business died down.

"Fortune favours the bold" Passepartout proved that. Generally, servants just follow what their masters say, but Passepartout also has his own idea, and it is a very good and brave idea. Until these chapters, i thought Mr. Fogg was a very cool and just wanted to finish his 80-days trip English gentleman. But i was wrong, he is also a brave and kindhearted gentleman. i think, because Mrs Aouda is along now, Passepartout saved her life, and she is very beautiful. Maybe they can be a couple in the next story.
