Think big and kick ass 145-165

Few years ago, a high-end retail store wanted to rent pace in Donald' buildings. They needed to redesign their stores, and Donald knows every contractor in New York because he has been screwed by on of them. He said to his new tenant, "do not use a contractor unless i approve it". Next few days, Donald recommend them three people that he thought they are very contractor, and his new tenant said, "oh, thank you very much". But two months later, they did not use the contractors who Donald recommended them. Donald tried to help them and they rejected, so Donald did not care about them any more. In the end, the $17 million renovation they had budgeted ended up costing them $48 million, they failed and they paid to Donald $100 million and they left.
I am really interested in this chapter because i have been in the same situation like the tenant in this chapter. I can understand and know their feeling when they lost because they did listen to any advice from other people. I think when we do some things, we have better think about some advice from other people, and this chapter is a good example for that
