Think big and kick ass 226-267
This chapter was focused on the issue of money overall and protecting your assets. It was all based around marriages though and was titled “I love you, sign this”. Trump talked about his marriages in the past and how he had a prenuptial agreement for all of them which protected his assets. He used statistics such as 58% percent of marriages end up in a divorce and mentions that while it might not be the most romantic thing to do, in the event of a breakup it can save you from the ugly legal battles over money that could arise. There was one example he used which was kind of surreal where a rich and powerful person kept marrying and divorcing women and each time the person had to pay $50 million.
I am very surprised about his marriages, Donald lost a big amount of money just because of divorced. I never think that the a person like Donald can lost a big amount of money as easy as chicken feed. I think he should has contract with his wife about marriage and money because he can lost his money again when he divorce his new wife

P185~P254 Dongjin
I think Greg is the killer because he appeared in chapter 1 and didn’t show up after that. And finally, he appeared again in chapter 26. I think there’s no reason Greg is in the story. The only reason that he’s in the story is that because he’s the suspect. I’m really sure he’s the killer because he acts suspiciously.

My Sister's KeeperPg203-250
Oh~~~~Finally, I reach 250 pages!!!ahahahahh~~~~Please allow me to scream because I'm too happy about this. During the process of reading this book, I was enjoyed reading it but also feel painful because of its organization. This is the most difficult English book that I've ever had.In conclusion, I strongly recommend that anyone who thinks their English is very good should really read this book. Because some parts of the book I don't really understand, I'm thinking to buy a traditional Chinese version.By the way, even though I don't finish the book, I know the ending. It is sad ending... It doesn't matter that Anna wins her lawsuit or not, she's always the loser. If she wins, she will has her body right but lose her sister and she will always live in her remorse:she kills her sister. If she lose, she has to transplant her kidny for her sister and always suffering from her parens' neglect.
Roll of Thunder,Hear My Cry Pg218-254
My summary:
Last chapter, we talked about that author` s father got hurt. Then, in the second day, Mr. Morrison saw him. And he went to the market to buy some stuff. During the road, he met a white man who was driving a truck. Then the man defied the Mr. Morrison. So he was fighting with the white man. Mr. Morrison beat the white man so terrible. Then he went home. After he was at home, author` s grandmother said that they would repay it. Mr. Morrison would get into the trouble. Then he said that he did it, he assumed it. Then their revival was coming, during the meeting, author and her brothers met T.J. with his fellows. T. J. looks very good since he had leaved author and his brothers. Then one night, T.J. hurry to go author` s house. But he got hurt so terrible. Then author knew about that he was hurt by his fellows. Because they was going to steal the pistol in a store. Then they kill the storekeeper. After this event, T. J. was going tell everyone about this. But his fellow knew that he would do this. So they were beating him with savage blows until he could not stand, then flung him into the back of the truck and went down the street to the pool hall. So they would send him to home......
My response:
I already read these chapters. I felt that the world is going to be crazy. Although I haven` t finished this book, I can know that this story is so sad. According to the title about "Roll of Thunder, Hear My cry", they will have a cruel rencontre. Author` s father got hurt, T.J. got hurt. They all can prove the society that is unfair. I hope that the world will have peace and benevolence. Do not be like this story. These lovely children met so terrible benevolence. Well, I still hope that the end of the story will have a good final...

Think big and kick ass 190-225
The main idea it seem was how you can’t let what others say about you whether it be a bad comment or a good comment affect you as you need to determine your image yourself. Not getting too caught up with good comments was kind of an interesting twist as I don’t usually hear people say that. Basically, if people start saying you are the best and that you can never fail for example, believing that as if it is written in stone can cause you to be unprepared for disasters or at the same time cause you to lose focus.
Around the world in 80 days Part 8 p127--230
As his trip, at the beginning, people thought he was the thief who robber the bank of England, and his behavior which rashly bet that he could travel around the entire globe in just eighty days. The policeman, Mr. Fix followed him all the trip, gradually he found Mr. Fogg was not that people told about. Even Fix told Passeportout that his master was a thisf during the trip, Passeportout did not betray his mater. I thought that Mr. Fogg knew what other people were talking about, but he just wanted to finish his trip or his dream. It is very important to do your business successful that no matter what other people say, you need to follow your dream bravely and never give up.

My Sister's Keeper Pg163-200
When I read the chapter, I found that there are three little dots in the bottom of the page and I don't understand what it means. May be someone can tell me the meaning? Finally I reach 200 pages! I just have 50 pages to read, hahhah~~It seems that is is impossible for me to finish the book this quarter, I think it is a kind of pity. Anyway ,I want to finish the book after the quarter.I love the climax in this book, the conflict between the characters is the most exciting part. Anna is confused now, everything is out of her mind. I can't wait to see what will happen in next chapter.
Emma P.121-156
feeing
I think personality can't chanage really easily. You can't not say change then you can't change as soon as possible. It just likes Emma she said she would match making anyone anymore because love can not control and it can not say you guys so match then jsut get other. It is not the love. But after Elton case, she still wants to match someone. It can proof that personality is not easy to change. And i think if you like someone it is not easy to feel that. Sometimes, you think you are friends or you do not like him or her.But sometimes the feeling is so strange you can not control and you can't know easy.It is depand on the person, someone they will like someone in the first sigt, someone likes someone need a long periods, may be 1 year or more.It is just like Emma, she doesn't know she like Mr.Knightley but later when she discovers his goods that she starts to like him.Love is no one know when it will come.
P. 138-184 (Ch.14-18)
I was so happy to find Janie! I knew that she's not the murder. She was just escaping from Connie Mac but I don't understand why she was afraid of Connie Mac. Connie Mac thought she likes her but if it was not true, there was no reason to escape. And the story is getting more interesting. I think Hannah can find the murder soon because the murder will appeare soon to kill Norman.
Think big and kick ass 165-190
This chapter is so great, i like Donald's experiences when he hired his employes. But donald used so many profecctional works that i can not understand so far. Finally, thi is chapter is so interested

My Last Best Friend !!!! ( Julie Bowe ) part 1
Ida May, a nine-year-old girl, has a best friend that moved away. Her name is Elizabeth Evans. Ida, now, feels lonely. She tries to be far away from others students in her class. She thinks nobody can be her best friend like Elizabeth. Jenna is one of Ida's classmates. She always makes fun of Ida and Elizabeth. But when Elizabeth moved, only Ida is made fun of by Jenna. It makes Ida feel tired and she becomes far away from her classmates and kids in her neighbors.
Her parents help her to make friend with other students, especially, Jenna. Because Jenna is a famous girl in the town. He appeared in some town magazines, she is beautiful, smart and learn well. She is also a daughter of the school's PTA president. But Ida really hates Jenna. Jenna can not be her friend. And we also have Stacey, she is a new comer. She is so friendly, she tries to make friend with Ida, but Ida always doesn't smile back.
My respone: This is my second book. Its name is "My last best friend". The main character is Ida May. I think she is in adolescence, so maybe she has many strange feelings. Her bes friend moved away, and she is far away from other students.
Nothing really is special in the first part. I think this book is funny. Words that author used in this book are simple and funny. I imagined Ida's face when she tried to not smile back to Stacey. It makes me laugh a lot. This book is suitable for juniors and parents. It helps us know more about young children's feelings and thinking in their world.
The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve pages 199-304.
Kathryn and Robert departed to London the very next day. When they reached London, Kathryn went to Muire Boland's house alone almost immediately. When she knocked on the door, a tall dark-haired woman with a baby boy on her hip opened the door. Kathryn noticed the baby's eyes which were slight different colors, just like Mattie's which were inherited from Jack. She knew then the woman was really Muire Boland. There was also a little girl in the house playing construction blocks. Kathryn saw a photo of Jack in a faded polo shirt with the baby and the girl seemingly at a beach. It was when she found out more about Jack's relationship with Muire Boland. They had actually been married for four and a half years. Five and a half years ago, they met at the airline and fell in love. Later, Muire got pregnant and Jack wanted to get married at a Catholic church. Kathryn thought, he had never been to a church for a long time. She found out that Jack had been a very different person when he was with her and Muire. Muire had known all about Kathryn and Mattie, while Kathryn had not known anything about Muire and her children until now. Muire was cold to Kathryn. Kathryn could not really believe what she had just found out. She then wandered around London, went to a pub and get soaked in the rain as she had forgotten her umbrella at Muire's house. She came back to the hotel at one in the morning. Robert was anxious about her. That night, Kathryn stayed in Robert's room not wanting to be alone in her room. She told him she wanted to go home as soon as possible, so Robert had to change the ticket time the next morning. Kathryn felt better by then. They were having breakfast together when Muire came in hurry and apologized to Kathryn for being cruel to her the last evening. She told Kathryn everything. She said it was not a suicide which Kathryn had believed in before. Someone planted the bomb on the plane to discredit the IRA since Jack was involved in the matter with Muire. Both Muire and Jack were Catholic Irish and Jack was invited to join by Muire's brother. By this incident, Kathryn found out that Robert had been using her to find out more about Jack's activities. Muire was hurrying as she was trying to escape but in the end she was arrested and stayed in a jail in Ireland. Kathryn had not yet exposed about the other family Jack had had to Mattie unless it was exposed to the public. She had also thrown her wedding ring into the sea in Malin Head where Jack's plane had been drowned. Kathryn and Mattie had quite passed the bad moments. They tried to live normally even though it was rather impossible. They were fishing when Robert came to visit. He apologized for taking the wrong decision. He said, he wanted to tell Kathryn at the first time but he was afraid he might lose her.
Response:
This is the end of the story. The ending was rather sad to me):
I still can't really believe that Jack had another family in London for four and a half years yet Kathryn had not suspect anything! Poor Kathryn for being cheated on while she had given all her trust to her husband. Jack was such a bad husband! Oh, how I hate him now! Tsk. Despite his reluctant to leave Kathryn and Mattie he was still very bad for cheating on them! How sad..:'(
I did not really expect for the ending to turn this way. I thought it might be better... However, I admire Kathryn for being a very strong woman! Regardless everything that had happened to her, she still had the courage to live her life and to take the positive sides of Jack though sometimes she still wondered if she could really forgive a man who had betrayed her. I am happy for her that she could make it up with Mattie again since Mattie was rather cold to her. I guess, she blamed Kathryn for what had happened. Also, I am actually quite contented when I got to know that Muire was arrested. She stayed with the terrorists in the jail! She worthed it, anyhow. However, Kathryn wondered where Muire's children were. I pity them for having such a bad mother. I actually like her children. From the description, I think they were cute. Furthermore, they were nice and innocent, don't they?:D
Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry Pg152-217
My summary:
Many things happen to the author` s family. One night, when their family was sleeping, their house was being burned by some bad men. Then author` s family experience this event. They knew that Wallace store want to hurt them. But they are not able to defeat to bad men. Fortunately, their house is a little burned. They can still live in the house. When Christmas day was coming, they had a party to have fun. After Christmas day, somebody talked about selling their land including author` s land. But author` s family did not agree to sell their land. They wanted to protect the land. In their opinion, the land was just like their lives. If they drop the land, they would be not able to live. Finally, the land was not selled. They were successful. Then the book was talking about author `s mother. When some leaders listened to her class, she telled the truth without book to students. Because she thought that the book` s content was not true, she telled the truth. The leader was not glad about what she was talking about. She got fired by them. Then T.J. telled the secret about her mother to school, then all the friends ignored him. They did not like to make friends with him. Next thing was happened .Because the author` s family want to restrict Wallace store to sell the products. They made a store for their land` s people. So they need to bring a lot of stuff to home. So her father and father` s friend go to the market. When they came back during the road, their wagon was broken. A wheel was lost. When they repair their wagon, her father got shot. After they came back, Author` s family worried about him. But they are not able to defeat to bad men......
My response:
I already read three chapters. Now, I have a strong feeling. The world was unfair. I am sorry about black people. They did not have freedom. They lived in the bottom of the society. Nobody understood what they were doing. Nobody could help them. They only depended on themselves. to live. Burning the house, losing the job and getting shot can said that they were being in dangerous situation. I hope they can have freedom in the future. They should be equal like us. The world need peaceful. Maybe next chapter will have some good things to happen. I am expecting for it...

Around the world in 80 days Part 7
No matter what happened to Mr. Fogg, he will never be worried. Because he always says it has already taken into account. From the Mr. Fogg's behaviors to Mrs. Aouda, we can also find he does very respect women. From the conversation between Mr. Fix and Passepatout, we knew Passepatout is a very honest servant. Even they did not know where Passepatout went, they knew he would not betray, and Mr. Fogg thought that he probably got on the steamer which they missed earlier. But why Fix got on the same boat with Fogg, and did not ask Fogg what he thought, or even catch him, so he can finish his task and get his salary earlier.

I’m really curious that who the murder is. I wanted to turn to the last page to turn to the last page to find out the murder but I didn’t. And I think the reason Mike suspect Norman as a murder is because of jealousy. Also, I was wondering where Janie is now. I don’t think she is the murder. I guess she will be appearing soon. More and more reading is more interesting. I want to read more. I think I can know the murder soon. Also, I can see new vocabulary.

My Sister's Keeper pg141-162
I'm very happy to know that I don't have to finish the whole book, which means I don't need to be crazy about it. I already have a plan that I must read one hundred pages each next week, but now it seems that I don't need to do that. I think this book is a little difficult for me because there are some professional words, some of them I can't find in my dictionary.Nevertheless, it doesn't bother me to understand the main idea of the book. The book mix current event and recollection together and I don't the connection between them. I think I'm not accustomed to read such a novel book like this. I promise that next time I will choose another kind of book!!!
Emma chapter 4
Mr Elton returned to Highbury and he was really happy, because he was going to get married with Augusta Hawkins whose family is rich. Ten thousand pounds was the rumour in Highbury.Everyone said he looked so in love. Harriet was sad because of that. One day, when Emma and Harriet was meeting Mr and Mrs Weston,Mrs Weston brought Emma a good news, Frank was coming and he was going to stay there for a whole fortnight. Emma was excited as this was the first time she could meet Frank. After Emma met Frank, she thought he is a handsome man, also he was really friendly. She thought Frank really liked her and she really enjoyed being with him.Everyone think Frank was a very good young man who is really match with Emma, except Mr. Knightly.
He thought Mr.Frank's thinking and personailty was silly and like a child. And he thought Frank is not match with Emma.
feeling
I enjoyed the book so far. I think Emma and Frank are a good match as they both enjoyed being together. And i think sometimes someone have child mind is much better than someone always thinks a lot.Easy mind is much better than difficult mind. Also, i think love can't control. If someone doesn't like you, then just give up and don't non-stop to love someone who don't like you.Because you will get hurt when you see them so sweet. And you like someone who like someone else, don't feel angry and bless them will be happy forever. This means you are really like him or her becuse you see he or she happy then you will feel happy.

The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve pages 165-198.
Kathryn was recalling the night when Jack was supposed to be in the crew apartment. She was at the school in the evening for the graduation night - she was a teacher in that school. She led the music concert at that night since she taught music. The next day, Mattie was supposed to have her Math final. She got an achievement as a sophomore at that night. Both Kathryn and she were very happy. She decided to call her father to tell him the good news. However, she failed to reach him when she tried to call him using the phone in the principal's room three times. Kathryn tried to call the crew apartment for three times later when they were home. Still, their calls were not answered. She wondered where Jack was with anger and concern. Then, she tried to concentrate to calculate her history students' grades until she fell asleep with her grade book and calculator on her lap. At quarter to one, the phone rang. It was Jack. When asked why he had not answered the phone, Kathryn that he had turned off the ringer off since he was exhausted and thought that he really needed to sleep.
Robert helped Kathryn cleaned her house. Then they had their dinner together. During the dinner, Kathryn just remembered one of the question from the Safety Board if Jack had any close friends in England. She also remembered about the paper that she found in Jack's trouser pocket. The one she thought would be for Mattie's Christmas surprise, a poem and a lottery ticket. On the ticket was written "M at A's" and some numbers which Kathryn did not know the meaning. Robert supposed that it was a phone number in England. Then Kathryn remembered the envelope she had found in Jack's office with the writing 'Muire Boland 3.30'. She supposed that it was a woman's name so she tried to call the number. A woman answered and said that Muire had been there and just gone back to her place when asked if there was Muire Boland. Kathryn also found that Muire was a flight attendant. She became anxious. She thought of the possibility that Jack had an affair. She decided to go to England. Instead of hesitating, Robert said that he would go with her.
Response:
Oh my ... What is going to happen now? More problems are occurring now. Now Kathryn found more evidence about Jack. What was Jack up to? It confused her. I put my sympathy on her for having a very hard life with a lot of problems occurring in her grief. Should she still trust her husband? She tried hard not to lose faith in Jack. If I were Kathryn, I do not think that I would be able to be as strong as her. Maybe I would really lose faith in Jack even though it is hard to accept the fact that he had an affair with a flight attendant. Many people used to tease Kathryn about the jokes between a pilot an his flight attendants but she always dismissed them. Now, were these evidence proving that the jokes were true? Kathryn tried to be strong and find out what these evidences actually meant.
Roll of Thunder ,Hear My Cry Pg102-151
My summary:
It still describes that what happened to author. One day, their grandmother went to the market to sell something. These children followed their grandmother also. In this way, they can help their grandmother to sell. But something happened to author. When author walked to bring something to her grandmother, she bumped into Lillian Jean Simms. Then author apologize to him. But Lillian ordered her to get down in the road. But author refused it. Then her grand mother come here, and let author to get down in the road. Grandmother looks very sad. After this event, grandmother told their children that they are black, so they have to follow white men` s order. Then a man went to their house, he is their uncle. His name is Hammer. When he heard this event, he was taking a gun to kill Lillian. But he was refused by grandmother. She said that if you went there, you would be killed by them. We were weak. They were strong. Then Hammer followed grand mother` s order...
My response:
Since I read here, I have felt so sad about them. The author is teased by Lillian, but her grandmother just followed them to let Cassie get down in the road. Because they were black, white can do anything that they want for them. I think that the society system was not perfect in the old society. It was unfair to them. They can not do anything to protect themselves. So that is the reason that the black people need freedom to protect themselves. So I believed in next chapter that they can have hope for their freedom.
Around the world in 80 days Part 6
"Fortune favours the bold" Passepartout proved that. Generally, servants just follow what their masters say, but Passepartout also has his own idea, and it is a very good and brave idea. Until these chapters, i thought Mr. Fogg was a very cool and just wanted to finish his 80-days trip English gentleman. But i was wrong, he is also a brave and kindhearted gentleman. i think, because Mrs Aouda is along now, Passepartout saved her life, and she is very beautiful. Maybe they can be a couple in the next story.
Think big and kick ass 145-165
I am really interested in this chapter because i have been in the same situation like the tenant in this chapter. I can understand and know their feeling when they lost because they did listen to any advice from other people. I think when we do some things, we have better think about some advice from other people, and this chapter is a good example for that

The absolutely true diary of a Part-time Indian (part 6)
After the game between Reardan and Wellpinit, Junior regeted because he made Wellpinit team lose. At that night, Junior had a short conversation in the internet with Rowdy. They talked and laughed together. They forgot everything and became best friend again. A few weeks later, Junior's family had another big shock: his older sister died because of fire. She had a party in her house and one of her friend forgot to turn of the stove. The fire was catched and killed her and her husband. When Junior heard that news, he was crazy. He didn't know how to cry. He just laughed. like an insane. In his sister's funeral, he couldn't had any tear for his sister. He went out of the funeral and sat in the ground with Rowdy. He tried to make fun, but Rowdy didn't like that. He was crying. Rowdy punch Junior in his face. Junior didn't laugh anymore. He became quite. He thought about many things. He thought he was kill his sister. Because he went to school in Reandar, his sister had to save money. So she lived in a cheap house and she burned to death. Junior started crying. Rowdy, too......
It was summer, his school ended, so he stayed home in the summer. One day, Rowdy went to Junior's house. He wanted to play basketball with Junior. They went out and play one-by-one. During the game, rowdy talked too much with Junior. He forgave Junior. He said Junior was nomadic and he had to leave the rez, travel to other places. Junior was crying. He loves Rowdy so much, no one could be a best friend like Rowdy. They understood feelings of each other. At that day, they played basketball untill it was dark. They had a good night with their best friend.
(the end)
My respond:
I was listening a sad song while I was reading the rest of the book. That song is a song without lyrics. It made me think about Junior. His life likes that song. There are many ups and downs. It always has many difficulties, but also has some happy things that appear in his life. He could fly by his own wings. He was brave and strong enough to make his dreams come true. He also had helps from Rowdy, his parents and supports from his grandma, his sister and Eugene. He had big dreams and it was the time for him make his dreams come true. I believe that he can do it. I hope he can do the things that he hopes. I hope his wings will get him fly high and far to beautiful places.......

My Sister's Keeper Pg107-138
I think these chapters are a kind of romantic~I mean Julia and Campbell. One of them is the guardian ad litem of Anna, the other one is the lawyer of Anna. They were in relationship in high school. What I can say is I'm very admire Jodi(the writer), how can she imagine this plot???The relationships between the characters become more complicated from these chapter. I guess there will be more intersting characters appear next several chapters. I think it's necessary for me to speed up my reading, I still have more than two hundred pages to read and there is only half a term that I have!!!!ah~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
P. 98-115 (Ch.10-11) Dongjin
The story is getting more interesting. I was trying to find the murder like the sisters. However, there appeared many characters in these chapters, it made me confused to find the killer. I conjecture a person for the suspect and I’m going to find out later if he is the killer.

Emma chapter 3
For my own opinion, i think love can not control and i think it is really hard to push someone when someone doesn't like someone. No matter what you do, it will not have anything change if someone don't like you or not interest about you. Also, i don't like someone try to match with someone when they think you guys are really match. But they don't know about their both feeling about them, they just think they are match so it is good for them to date with each other.

It describes that author and her brothers go to school by foot everyday. But little man feels very angry and unfair because they are black and have no schoolbus to go to school.During the road, every time the school bus passes them, the mud splashes them.So stacey gives an idea. They dig the road, the hole looks like a trap. They want schoolbus to fall down. Finally, their plot is working. They promise together that they will not speak out! They come home.So another thing happens to them.Maybe their family meets some problems. Some bad people burn a family. Now these bad men are in the store near the school. So their mother is afraid that they go there. But they really go there.Their mother blames them..............
Response:
I already read two chapters.I think that I`m a little confused in the chapters about relationships.I think that their behavior make me angry.Because they dig the trap for the school bus. It`s not the only way to solve the problem. If the schoolbus falls down, the driver and the students lose their lives. How do they do about it?So it is so serious. They should have a good way to solve this problem without the plot. They are so naughty.Through this,I know that you need do everything after thinking.I like this novel, but I don`t children`s behavior.........
The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve pages 125-164.
Kathryn and Mattie had been wondering if they would have a funeral for Jack since his body had not found yet. Later, they had a memorial day instead of a funeral. Kathryn was not strong enough to see all the pilot rows who had never even met her husband standing during the memorial day. She too, saw many of her students who had even graduated but came back just for this event. People still thought that it was a suicide. Kathryn kept recalling the past when Jack was home. She had always thought that they had the same fate, being orphans, not since they were born, but left when they were quite young. Even though Kathryn's parents were present, they had never taken care of her. Julia did. Her parents drank a lot and did not behave like adults. Likewise, Jack used to tell her that his mother died of cancer when he was nine and his father then lost his consciousness as a person since. So, he felt like he was on his own. During the interview, Kathryn ran to the beach at the back of her house to sit there and be alone. Then, Robert came and sit beside her. They talked about a few things before a cameraman took an opportunity to take their shot which surprised them, of course. This gave Kathryn her confidence back to tell all the interviewers that she was sure that it was not suicide and she would not answer anymore question until her lawyer is present. One of them asked, "do you know about his mother?" She answered him confidently that she was dead. This was the moment that she discovered that Jack had been lying to her all this time. His mother was not dead. Instead, she was taken care in a nursery. Also, later she found out that Jack did not spend his last night in the crew apartment. It was found that he had made a reservation for two at a restaurant for that night. It was also still unknown where he was. Kathryn was surprised with this. She tried to ensure herself that he would not be unfaithful to her as she thought that it was not his characteristic.
Response:
How sad! Kathryn found out that her husband made a reservation for two at a restaurant? Could he have been unfaithful to her all these years? His behavior was sometimes strange. Ahh, this agitate me! How could he be so bad to Kathryn when she had always cared and loved him very much? I hope this is not going to be what I am going to read next because I do not like such stories. Also, I wonder why Jack had lied to Kathryn about his mother? Was he too embarassed to let Kathryn know his mother? Why was Jack behaving so strangely? It seems to me that he might have a mental problem that Kathryn had not known. Oh, I guess i begin to dislike Jack. I used to think that he was such a good husband and father but this opinion has changed now. Hmm.. But I do not really want to judge him now because I just reached half of the story! Hehe..

This chapter is so unbelievable, it is really great. I am very interested in the battle between Vice and Donald. Donald won eventhough his wrestler is not as muscle as vice's wrestler. Donald wrote this chapter with strong opinions, strong examples and feeling, it make me feel exited when i read this chapter. This chapter is much more longer than my summary, but that's all i can remember from what i read
Around the world in 80 days Part 5
"Mr.Fogg seemed as fresh as if he had just got out of bed", whatever anything happen to Mr.Fogg, he will be the coolest man. Learned from Passepartout' foolish experience, we need to know culture before we visit a new country, especially a country includes different religions from yours.Otherwise, you will be like Mr P. According to these chapters, I can find that nothing cannot stop Mr.Fogg's steps to around the world. "Nothing is in jeopardy."

The absolutely true diary of a Part-time Indian (part 5)
A few days after the game, the worst thing happened with Junior's family: his grandmother was killed on a traffic accident by a drunk driver. Many people in the reservation were so sorry about his grandmother's death. She was a rare person in the reservation who never drunk any drop of alcohol. She also was so tolerant with all people. All Indians love her, too. In her funeral, there were many people came. Especially, there was an appearance of a stranger. He was Ted, who was really rich and famous in that reservation. He was white person but he loved Indians. He brought an old outfit of Junior's grandmother to the funeral. He told everyone a story about that outfit. That was from an Indian guy, that guy needed money, so he said he wanted to buy that outfit. At that time, Ted realized that the guy was a thief, he stole that outfit from another one. But that outfit was so beautiful that Ted gave the guy two thousands dollars. He had been finding the reat owner of that outfit. It took him a long time to do that. According to his finding, the owner was Junior's grandmother.
After Ted's story, Junior's mother walked up to Ted, she couldn't received the outfit because that's not grandmother's outfit. Junior's grandmother had never danced at any Powwow. So, Ted packed the outfit and went away. Then all Indians at the funeral were laughing. They were laughing and crying at the same time. They laughing at Ted and crying for funeral...
A few months later, another one went to another world. That was Eugene, his father's best friend, and also Junior's big friend. He was killed by a drunk. That drunk also Eugene's friend. Few days later, the drunk hung himself in the jail, everyone had no enough time to forgive him. Everything was collapse in front of Junior....
In a new reason, Reandar, Junior's high school had a game with Willpinit, Rowdy's high school. It meant he had to fight against his best friend again. In many games before that, Junior's team had always lost Rowdy's team. Junior wanted to win once. he wanted to beat his best friend. It really became true. During the game, Junior tried to guard Rowdy as best as he could. So, Rowdy couldn't get more points like before. By the time Rowdy and Junior were jumping to get the ball, Junior was jumping higher than Rowdy. It was unbelievable. Nobody could image that. Junior got points and his team won in that game. His teamates shouted his name, but he didn't feel happy. He saw his parents, they were seeing Rowdy's team, Indians kids with hard life, and sad. Junior cried, not beacause he won, but because he was ashamed of himself. He had broken his best friend's heart and Indian kids' heart. He had broken poor-kids' heart.
My respond: Poor Junior!!! There were many things happened to him. He must be really upset and tired. He lost many thing around him: his grandmother, his big friend (Eugene) and his best friend. I think he had to overcome that difficulties. I know it was really hard to him, it was harder than the thing that he was boycotted by white kids in Reandar. But I hope he can do that. He had power from his grandmother and from Eugene, they would help him from the differen world. Rowdy, I think he would more understandable with his friend, and he would fogive Junior about leaving Willpinit in someday. Best wishes for you, Junior!!!

P78~97 Dongjin...
I expected that the book would expend the story in advance. I just expected the murder before. But in the chapter, the hero is looking for murder. I think he will be difficult to look for murder. I feel that it’s like CSI. I like the TV program. So it’s more interesting. The chapter is beginner yet. The hero could be worry to earn money because of dying one person. It’s like real. If I have same situation, I may do same ting. I was difficult some vocabulary, but now they are little easy so I can understand more before. I expect the story. My friend recommends the book to me. He want me to understand too easy the book. It’s very efficient to me.

I really like this chapter because of Trump's story, it is really exciting and interesting. I used to in the same situation like Trump and know it true, you can creat your own luck if you work hard and try your best
The apsolutely true diary of a Part-time Indian (part 4).
Many people in the reservation didn't like Junior. They thought he was trying to be a "white person" when he learned in Reardan. He felt he look like a Part-time Indian. He felt tired, but the thing helped him feel better is Penelope. He tried to lie about how poor he was. He was worried that the kids in Reandar, specially Penelope will boycott him if he is poor.
One day, on the Winter Formal, a party of Reardan, Junior and Penelope, like a couple, they attended the party. The problem was Junior, he was wearing his dad's old suit. Because his family didn't have enough money to buy a suit for him. But Penelope thought he was beautiful. They enjoyed the party. They danced and sang happily togother. After that, Roger and his friend invited Junior and Penelope to drive into Spokane and have pancakes. Junior didn't want to do that because hi didn't have enough money, he just had 5 dollars in his pocket. He couldn't buy any thing with 5 dollars. He hoped that Penelope's dad would not allow her to go to Spokane. But he allowed her because Roger helped her to talk with her dad, and because Roger is a good boy and soccer player. He ia not like Junior. So, Junior, Penelope, Roger and a few of the other dudes drove to Spokane. In the restaurant, Junior ordered many things: pancakes, juice, coffee, toast, hot chocolate, and French fries. He ordered and he knew that he couldn't pay. When everyone was eating the meal, he went to restroom. He felt tired and wanted to vomit. Then Roger went to restroom too, and Junior told Roger he forgot his wallet at home and he couldn't pay for the meal. Roger gave Junior 40 dollars. So he caould pay for all things he ordered.
When Roger droped off Junior at the school, Penelope told him that if he is poor or not. He said yes, he couldn't lie anymore. Penelope was nice, she told Junior that they could be good friends. Yeah, just good friends, it is enough for Junior.
One day, Reanadar had a basketball game with Wellpinit High School, Gowdy's school. At that game, Junior was thrown with many things by somebody in crowd. He was bleeding, and couldn't play. He had to go to the hospital.
My respond: There are so many things happened with Junior, but I think he ia strong enough to overcome difficulties. One more thing, I think poor or rich is not important. The important thing is his behavior. So he might not care so much about that, Penelope and Roger like him because he is strong, brave, and kind. Maybe he was not accepted in the reservation because he learned in white school, and in white school because he is an Indian. But it is not a problem, he has good friends who always concern about him. He has good parents who always take care of him carefully and earn money for him. He also has a understanding grandma, she can give him good advice.
Emma (Chapter 2)
I feel really sorry for Harriet and Mr Martin because they liked each other, but because of Emma's mistake, they could not get married. Although Emma was kind, she should not put the marriage of Harriet as a game. I think people can choose whoever they want to get married with as long as they are happy with them.
My Sister's Keeper Pg59-106
This is their firt time to meet in the court. I find that Sarah just cares about Kate. Whatever she talks about, the topic is always about Kate and her illness. Jesse said because of Anna, he can feel that he still is a part of this family. I know Kate is sick seriously, but Sarah should still need to take care of other two children. I think Brian is the father of this family but he doesn't do anything with this situation, he just follows his wife.

The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve pages 92-124.
Kathryn went to Julia's place and saw Mattie sleeping. She watched her daughter sleeping for a while before Mattie started to stuff her mouth with the white sheet on the bed. Mattie was still to upset to control herself. When Julia and Kathryn offered her a toast, she refused it angrily and changed her mind to take the toast later. Instead of eating it, Mattie just torn the toast into smaller parts. After their breakfast, Kathryn and Mattie went for a walk. Mattie was angry with her mother even though they did talk about things later on. Kathryin decided to tell Mattie about the news that it was predicted as a suicide but then she kept it to herself. When they got back to Julia's house, Kathryn saw Julia's red eyes. Julia then told her that Robert had just called thus Kathryn went to Julia's room to call Robert back. Robert told her that there were several interviewer from the Safety Board who wanted to ask her several questions about her husband. She was then picked up by Robert. In his car, Robert show a fax that show some tape about her husband's suicide which had not been really proved.
In the middle of the interview, Mattie called Kathryn and told her that she had just called Taylor, one of her friends to have a talk but Taylor was acting funny and telling her that her father's suicide was on the news. Mattie wanted to hear the truth from her mother. Kathryn tried to make things better by telling her it was not true even though Mattie was agitated and did not believe in what her mother had said at all.
Response:
I can't believe that Jack was really trying to commit suicide by blowing up the plane together with other 103 people in it! If I were Kathryn, I might just pass out because of all the things that had been so confusing. I have not reached the climax till now. It takes a little bit too long, I guess. But it's okay as long as I enjoy the story.=P
Roll of Thunder,Hear My Cry.Pg32-42

Around the world in 80 days Part 4
No matter what happen, Mr.fogg was still the same impassive person, the imperturbable member of the Reform Club, impervious to any incident or accident. But the servant sometimes showed a little over that talked with other people too much. But if Mr.Fogg does not do anything wrong, it is nothing worried about. And i believe that this long and unbelievable trip is for the bet, only the bed, i do not think he is a robber (even i have read a little bit about next chapters, ha ha). i also think the detective Mr.fix has a little overestimateing.

My Sister's Keeper pg49-58
I think the story is becoming more exciting and I can't wait to know what is going on next chapter. I can't imagine how is the consequence will be since a family member sues for her family when she is 13 years old. What I mean is she still needs to live with her family, how can she face to them? Even though I know what does Anna think, I still can't understand how dare she to do such a thing like this. If I am Anna, I don't think I can sue my family. I think it is because our culture is different. My culture tells me family is very important, if you sue your family, it's important for you to live with them anymore. So I'm very surprised that even Anna's family know the situation, they still can talk to each other normally. But I think the storm is coming...

P 50~77(ch.5~6)
I was worry about the story because of misunderstanding. Before the chapters, I couldn’t expect somebody would die even the title is “Blueberry Muffin Murder”. And now I’m curious about murderer. It will be interesting to find out who is the murderer from now on. I think Hannah will be involved in the matter.
Emma
For me,i really like June Austen's writing style because her book is not difficult to read and when you read her book, you will happy and funny. You will not feel stress to think about the writer's deeply thinking on their writing. Also, i really like this book's character Emma because i like her personality. She is kind. Although she is really rich, she will look down the poor people and always help her friend.
Thnik big and kick ass 75-96
I do not understand this chapter so far, but i could catch the main ideas in this chapter. I like the last part "get out of your comfort zone" because this is the first time i know about that. I like the ways he talks, stronger works, good examples, it is really interesting
The absolutely true diary of a Part- time Indian (part 3)
One day, when Junior couldn't stand anymore, he punched Roger in the face, one of his classmates. Because Roger insulted Junior and Indians. Roger didn't do anything after that. Junior said he wanted to finish the fight in the day after. As soon as he came home, he was scared. He had challenged Roger, a big boy. He asked his grandma for an advice. She told him that Roger "respected" him because Roger didn't hit Junior.
Like his grandma said, after that day, Junior went to school. Roger didn't say anything about fighting with Junior. He just smiled. He seemed to be friendlier with Junior. In his class, Gordy, the class genius, taught Junior many things about how to read a book. He's so smart and a good friend too. Everything was becoming better, but Penelope, one of Junior’s classmates, a beautiful girl, still hated Junior because he's an Indian. In the Halloween day, Junior and Penelope wanted to save money for homeless Native Speaker. But there were a thief, they stole all Junior's money. Penelope was very worried about him. After that, Penelope started becoming friendlier with Junior. They were a couple. That time, in Junior’s family had a big: his sister wanted to marry a flathead Indian and move to Montana. That was a shock with his family. The sister was living a romantic novel. She loved her life in Montana. She, a girl always wants to live alone in her room and writes romantic novels, wanted to have a new life far away from the rez, the Indian reservation. It was the big change with Indians in the reservation.
My response: This book is really interesting! I like it. I like Junior and his character. I like Penelope, Gordy, and Rowdy. But in this part, I like his sister. She was so brave. She dared to think and dared to act. She looks like a bird. The mature bird wants to fly to another place. I hope she could have a good life with her decision. For Junior, his first love was really cute. His relationship with his classmate was better. He was stronger and braver. Many things are in front of Junior, I hope he can handle them and have a beautiful life like his sister.

The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve pages 65-91.
Jack was predicted to be depressed which caused the pilot's error. However, when asked by Robert, Kathryn said that he was not but unhappy. She also said about five years ago, Jack told her that he was terribly bored with the airline as the company had grown too fast and become too impersonal where he hardly knew any of the crew he flew with. Also, he was thinking of quitting his job for another one or even opening his own operation such as flying school. Later, the topic drifted off. Kathryn herself, did not want to rise the subject since so she was not sure if Jack had really been thinking about it for the past five years. It was hard for Kathryn to sleep in her room where Jack used to sleep with her, after Robert went back to the inn that night. So she decided to sleep in the spare room. She was then waken up by the loud voices of Julia and Mattie just after midnight. Mattie was trying to wrap her present for Jack but she could not. She was still not used to her father's death. Julia decided to take Mattie to her house as Mattie needed a neutral zone. Kathryn went back to sleep after Julia and Mattie were gone, this time in her own bedroom after she had regained her bravery. Kathryn woke up the next morning and saw Robert with a cup of coffee. Robert told her the news he had heard that it was a suicide. Kathryn could not believe it and so she quickly drove her car at a high speed to Julia's place.
Response:
Phew. . . It is getting to the climax soon! How exciting! I long to know what exactly the cause of the explosion is. I too, do not believe that it was a suicide, just like Kathryn. How could it be? Why would Jack really do such a stupid thing and left his beloved family? It did not really make sense to me. In my opinion, he was a good husband and father so he would not let his family suffer on purpose. I hope the union really got it wrong. Also, I hope Jack actually survived. I just got the idea, what if it was a Christmas surprise from Jack for his family? Maybe he wanted to see what his family's reaction is!
Roll of Thunder,Hear My Cry. Pg17-31
It continues to talk about their school` s eviroment. It`s author`s first day to go to school. Then something happen to author and Little Man.When the bell is ringing ,they go to the class. Then the teacher introduce herself first. Her name is Daisy Crocker. Next.she send educational books. But little Man is not glad about the books. So he argues with teacher. And author find some problems in the books. She also argues with teacher. So something happen to them. The teacher decide to meet author`s mother to talk about this event.Author`s mother is also a teacher in this school. Then Daisy talk to his mother.Who konows! Response:
I think this event happened shlould be the Cassie`s teacher`s fault. She always complain it.In fact, her thinking is wrong. The author does not like these books. Then teacher is angry. She does`n ignore why the author does`n like this book. She only think her opinion. Then the author`s mother does`n agree with her. It gives me a idea. In the future, whatever I do anything,I have to think about it clearl before I do it. Do not your opinion will be right forever.Sometimes you also need to follow other people`s opinon. So next step maybe something interesting happen to the author.Let us expect it!
Around the world in 80 days Part 3
ha...ha.....,what will happen when the consulate met his men? Will they be arrested to England? Can they keep going their tour around the world in 80 days? Is Mr.Fogg the real bank robber? But I believe that Mr.Fogg is a real gentleman, because if he is a robber, why he went to the consulate get the visa, and went out with his servant? "Misunderstanding still, the answer eternal", I forgot who said it, it was said for a basketball player, Allen Iverson, who was misunderstand a killer in a case for many years. Sharing a poem
Open thy door to that which must go,
for the loss become,
unseemly when obstructed.
my understanding is forgetting the things that happened in the past and always make you feeling uncomfortable. My mom tells me that"If you have to live everyday in the world, whatever you are happy or sad, so why not live with happy!"
Please let's love ourselves, love the world, love the beautiful life.

My Sister's Keeper pg26-46
But her parents, especially her mother, Sara, didn't want her daughter to die. Her parents knew that the rate of survival for APL patients is twenty to thirty percent,if treatment starts immediately. Then the story jumped to now, after Anna grew up. When the family is having dinner, Brian found Anna has a little bit different from before, But Sara thinks it's normal because she is a teenager. This is the beginning of the story.
I think in Anna's family, nobody can understand her and no one has asked her about her opinion, what they care about is Kate, Anna's sister, just because she is the patient. But they forgot the other thing, there is not only one child in their family. They should also take care of other two children, not only Kate. During their dinner time, only father found Anna's unusual action. So I can imagine how much they ignore Anna.

Many characters appeared in these chapters. Before this chapter, almost was introduced about background. However, I think that this chapter was starting main story. In advance, the book will start interesting story. I wonder what will be happened next chapter. I didn’t understand all stories yet. I believe I will improve reading skill. After I understood difficult words, I had confidence.
Think big and kick ass 38-75
I really like this chapter because learned many things after i read it. I like The ways he talks, strong words, strong feeling.
Roll of Thunder,Hear My Cry.
Summary:
The beginning of the story discribe four children. They are Little Man,Stacey,Christopher, and author. The author`s name is Cassie in the story.Three people are Cassie`s brothers. They are going to school ,but Little Man is afraid of clothes to be dirty. So he walks slowly,he makes other three people be late to school. But finally he follow them. Then the author describes what her hometown look like and her family`s situation.During the road, they talk about something that who`s house is burned.Maybe it`s a secret. And then describe Little Man`s how to follow them to go to school. Then the author describes what school looks like..........
Response:
It`s my first time to read it.In the beginning,I think that nothing can hook me.The author just describe that the four children go to school, and then something happen to them. And then she discribe what their school look like.I think that in this story they have different char
acter.Little Man is a typical example. He is very careful and naughty person. His brothers are very rash. The author is patient and responsible for everything. So in this way,the author makes a story about them.I think maybe something will happen next.Maybe their family will be broken. Maybe they will meet a very difficuit thing.Maybe one of them will die. But I still expect something will happen next.

Around the world in 80 days,Part 2
When Jean, who was known as Passepartout, began to work for Phileas Fogg, Eaq., he found his "ideal" that his master functions like clockwork. The time of doing everything was writen down for him. And the room he lived was clean, tidy and austere, and well planned for servants. As usual, Mr.Fogg did the same things with the usual people in the club. One day, when Mr.Fogg was playing card and talking with his usual players, he said the earth had became smaller because people could travel around it in eighty days. Because of this conversation, Mr.Fogg made a 20,000 bet to his players who did not believe that he could around the world in eighty days. This time, Mr.Fogg was serious like usual. So tonight, he shall be on the Dover train...................................
Cool! I like that, let me remember a Chinese proverb--a word once spoken cannot be taken back even by a team of four horses, in other word, do what you said. Of cause, without courage, you also need a cool-headed when you decide some important things. And i thought, sometimes regular life is very good for our body and work, but if you put your daily things into every single minute, like Mr.Fogg, it is maybe little puritanical. Now, i am thinking about what is Passepartout's reflection when he hear that he is going to travel around the world in eighty days with his clockwork master. May be crazy,or quit his job.
The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve pages 30-64.
So far, this book has been still telling about what was happening around the house. There has not been any next day, still the same first day when Kathryn was informed by Robert Hart that Jack had an accident. After the bad news, Mattie slept the whole day with Julia, Kathryn's grandmother. Kathryn's parents were dead, both were drowned when they were drunk. They often fought from which Kathryn learnt about marriage. Kathryn found some papers in Jack's trousers in the bathroom after she had finished bathing. It was the trousers that Jack had worn on his last day home. There were some list of stuffs that he had to buy and some receipt from the post office in which written that a package would arrive on 20th December - it was 17th December when she found the paper. She thought it must be a christmas surprise for Mattie. Then she remembered about all the surprises that Jack had given her, especially the house she was currently living in. Jack had always been good at surprises, she thought. Until the last page that I have read, Robert Hart was informed that the accident was seventy percent pilot's error in which Kathryn could not believe and that there had been seven bodies found.
RESPONSE:
I long to read about how she goes on with her life without her husband! I guess it takes pretty lots of pages to tell the story of that particular day. Perhaps the Union had made a mistake with the information? And Jack would come back home? Kathryn had already asked about this to Robert. Poor Kathryn, Robert told her that they would never inform any wives that their husbands were dead while they actually were not=(. Hmm, I'm hoping it would really happen to Kathryn. Or maybe just a long nightmare for Kathryn.=D
The absolutely true diary of a Part-time Indian (part 2)
Junior has a older sister. For Junior, his sister is the prettiest, strongest and funniest person in the world. She didn't go to college. Junior is so different from his sister. He loves school. He and his friend - Rowdy - were highschool player in basketball. Junior ia not good at playing basketball, he was crushed by the bigger and better kids. In his school, there is a weird teacher, he was Junior's Geometry teacher. The teacher sometimes forfets to come to school and wears pajamas in class. However, he is really a good teacher. One day, Junior was in Geometry class, he was thinking about his book, it used to be his mother's book. He was thinking that his school and his family are so poor that he had to use the book his parent studied from. He was angry, he threw it away and it hurt the Geometry teacher. The teacher wasn't angry. He just talked to Junior after Junior's suspension. The teacher told Junior about his sister, she had been the smartest student in the teacher's class, her biggest dream is becomming a writer, but she didn't tell anyone. Then, she gave up her dream. At the end of the conversation, the teacher said he wanted Junior to transfer to another school. Because many white people here were trying to make Indian kids give up their dreams. Junior' sister gave up her dream and Rowdy, his best friend, became a bad person in school, he made people scare when they heard his name.
Junior had thought for many days, and then he decided to transfer to Reardan, a rich school with the smartest, richest and most athletic students. They are white peole. When Rowdy heard his friend said that he would transfer to Reardan and he wanted Rowdy to come with him, he was angry.
The first day Junior went to Reardan, many white kids stared at him. He soon realized differences between white kids and Indian kids. In the new school, he was called with many names such as: chief, sitting bull, tonto, squaw boy....He tried to handle them as much as he can.
My response: Poor Junior's friend and sister, they soon gave up their dreams and lived without future. They accepted it. On the other hand, Junior is really strong. He could face with difficulties. Transfering may be his good opportunity, but it's also his big challenge. If he can overcome it, he will be stronger, white kids will not stare him anymore, and he will find his dream. The dream for not only him but also his friend, his family and his sister. So, do you think Junior can stand in the new school and will be a bright and shining star like the teacher told him before?
